    Fruth era kicking off for Goochland football

    Alex Fruth is set to kickoff his first season as head football coach at Goochland. He takes over for Joe Fowler, who stepped down to become the director of student activities at the school. The Bulldogs have made the playoffs in every year since 2004, winning two state titles in that span, and haven't lost a regular season game since 2015. Fruth was an assistant coach at Goochland for six seasons, before taking an assistant job at Atlee last year.
