RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Virginia's State Board of Elections has certified the results of the Nov. 3 general election.

All three Republican statewide candidates won handily, so there was no drama in Monday's review.

Governor-elect Bob McDonnell received nearly 59 percent of the vote in defeating Democrat Creigh Deeds. Ken Cuccinelli (KOOCH'-uh-nell-ee) got almost 58 percent of the vote for attorney general, and Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling won re-election with nearly 57 percent of the vote.

The closest race was for a House of Delegates seat in Virginia Beach. The board certified Republican Ron Villanueva as the winner over incumbent Bobby Mathieson by 14 votes out of more than 15,000 cast.

Mathieson campaign manger Mark Henson says the Democrat will seek a recount.
