RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) - Get a taste of Greek culture at the Mini Greek Festival, sponsored by the Ladies of Philoptokos Society. There will be lunch, dinner, a bake sale and a la carte menu, santuary tours, Helenic dancers and so much more! It all starts Thursday and runs until Saturday from 11am to 8pm. However on Saturday, the festival will end at 2. For more information and pricing, you can visit their website, www.vagocathedral.org. Part of the proceeds will go to various local and national charities.

Break out the guitars, grab a few friends, and feel the funk at the Capital Ale House musicians jam. This free event will play host to all musicians and all styles of music. You can jam out with the house band or simply use the amps and drum-sets provided. The event is Sunday from 7pm to 11pm. Come and join the fun this Friday at the Richmond Times-Dispatch kids run. This one-mile event is open to kids ages 5 thru 12. Every participant will get a t-shirt, race number, as well as a commemorative medal upon crossing the finish line! The race starts at 7pm at the Arthur Ashe Athletic Center.
