SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - In an Oct. 18 story, The Associated Press, relying on a news release from the California Department of Public Heath, reported a recall of Del Monte brand cantaloupes sold in northern California and Nevada.
The story should have specified which company using Del Monte in its name produced the cantalopes. The recalled cantaloupes were from Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc., rather than Del Monte Foods Co.
