ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Business consultant The Corporate Executive Board Co. said Tuesday it has acquired financial services consultant The Tower Group Inc.
Details of the transaction were not immediately released.
The Arlington, Va.-based Corporate Executive Board provides data and tools, research, and peer insight to corporate executives. Its 2,000 employees serve more than 120,000 professionals in more than 5,000 companies.
Needham, Mass.-based TowerGroup advises financial services business.
Shares of Corporate Executive Board rose 2 cents to $25.68. They fell 5 cents in after-hours trading.
