HAMPTON, Va. (AP) - Hampton University officials say a former student was armed with three guns when he followed a pizza delivery man into his former dorm, shot the delivery man and a dorm monitor before shooting himself.
Officials told a news conference at the southeastern Virginia university that all three are expected to survive.
Hampton University Police Chief Leroy Crosby says officials have no motive for the shooting, which occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday.
The suspected shooter is from New York City and had attended classes at Hampton last fall.
Neither his name or the shooting victims' names were released.
