DUMFRIES, VA (WWBT) - An $1 million ticket from Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing was purchased in Virginia.

The winning ticket was bought at Shoppers Food in the 4100 block of Fortuna Center Plaza in Dumfries.

The winning numbers were 11-29-34-48-54, and the MegaBall number was 10. The ticket matched the first five numbers, and missed the MegaBall number.

The ticket is the only ticket in the state to match the first five numbers in the April 16 drawing, and one of two in the nation.

No ticket matched all six numbers to win the full $157 million jackpot, so the jackpot will rise to $175 million for Friday night’s drawing.

The owner of the ticket has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize.

The Virginia Lottery urges the owner to sign the back of the ticket to establish ownership, and contact the Virginia Lottery when they’re ready to claim their prize.

Mega Millions drawing are held Tuesday and Friday nights at 11:30 p.m.

Drawing are broadcast on TV stations across Virginia, and streamed online.
