(WWBT) - Orphaned black bear cubs were released back into the wild by the Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

The cubs were cared for by the Wildlife Center of Virginia until they became a year old and were released.

This year, there were 15 cubs that were cared for after they became separated from their mothers.

DGIF posted a video of some of the cubs being released to its Facebook page.
