Hanover deputies search for vehicle larceny suspect

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) - Hanover County deputies are seeking the suspect responsible for two recent vehicle larcenies.

On Thursday, Nov. 29, deputies responded to the 6300 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike for a report of vehicle larceny. A vehicle’s windows were smashed and property was stolen from the vehicle.

On Wednesday, Dec. 5, a similar incident took place in the 9400 block of Atlee Commerce Boulevard. A victim reported having their vehicle windows smashed and property stolen.

Investigators are processing evidence. A possible suspect vehicle has been identified.

The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office urges residents to lock vehicle, remove keys and hide or remove all valuable items from unattended vehicles.
