STAFFORD, VA (WWBT) - A K-9 officer and drone team were dispatched to aid in the pursuit of three suspects connected to a stolen vehicle in Stafford.
Two women were arrested and another suspect is on the loose after deputies pursued a stolen vehicle.
Chanise Stroble, 20, of Alexandria, was arrested and charged with felony eluding, reckless driving, receiving stolen property, felony hit-and-run, possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice and driving after forfeiting her license.
A deputy with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 100 block of Jousting Court at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 5 for a report of three people looking into vehicles with a flashlight.
The suspects drove away in a black sedan that was later located and identified as stolen from Leesburg. The driver fled after a deputy attempted to initiate a traffic stop.
While being pursued, the vehicle crashed into a deputy’s cruiser on Dent Road and continued onto Regents Lane where the vehicle stopped and the suspects fled on foot.
Stroble, who was driving the vehicle, is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
Another suspect, Sabrina Ali, 18, of Annandale, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and obstruction of justice. She is being held at the jail on a $2,500 secured bond.
The third suspect has not yet been located.
